My Japanese nickname is “Liko” which is just a coincidence. This place called Liko’s in Hawaii Kai, Koko Marina is a nice hideaway to enjoy great food, extensive variety of craft beer and what about the atmosphere! On the Marina….nice! The drafts were $2 off Happy Hour time…They do have food special but you have to be inside the bar area to get that special rates (on selected food items during Happy Hour). We were at the “waterfront seating” so only the beer is a discount. Worth It…yes! It’s all about the views! So, for those of you who are around the Eastern part of the island perhaps visiting Hanauma Bay, Blow Hole, Sandy Beach or Waimanalo you are just moments away to get to Liko’s. If you time it right as you approach late afternoon you can take advantage of the Happy Hour. For the sports fan, they do have flat screens that are decent size screens to enjoy your favorite game.
You need to make reservations ahead of time to get your time slot. Request for the waterfront seats….you may get lucky like we did! But, don’t worry…even if you sit in the inside you still get peek a boo views of the Marina and you can always walk over the Marina front for a quick viewing and photos….(but be mindful of social distancing).
