Our plans was to take Mimi&Pepe to Kailua Beach….but, when we got there it was heavy gusts, chilly and began to rain. We searched for the sun and went over the mountain to the South Shore, Waikiki and Kapiolani Park.
Before stopping there we wanted to pick up breakfast at famous Diamond Head Grill…..It is famous for their “Blueberry Scones”. Hiromi ordered the basic breakfast with two eggs and bacon. I ordered Hawaii’s fav “LOCO MOCO” …..homemade beef patty on rice (i went with Brown Rice to not feel so guilty), smothered over with homemade gravy and topped with an easy over egg….”ONO!”

But, low and behold, I forgot to ask for the utensils…! So here we are….all set up to eat…and no FORK, NO CHOP STICK and NO SPOON! Ouch! But, we did have the Blueberry Scone to save the morning! That held us over until we get back home….
But, we continued our adventure with Mimi&Pepe and did the stroll of the park….we try to capture the essence of what the park is all about as we video taped our surrounding
Hope you enjoyed this clip…
In conclusion, don’t let the “wind and rain” or “forgetting your chopsticks” spoil your day….”SEARCH FOR THE SUN”…….and brighten your day!
