Dine In at Ramen Tenkaippin on Kapahulu Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii….delicious slow cooked broth with Ramen noodles made in Japan has a quality “bounce” to it….we highly recommend! A cozy atmosphere with a safe healthy environment practice of distancing. Temperature check, sanitizing sprays and tracking is all part of the protocol.
But, the star is the ramen noodle dishes, full bodied flavor and it’s pork slices tender and flavorful.
Location is just a 5-8 minute drive from most hotels in Waikiki to Kapahulu Ave. Down the street from the Zoo area heading to the direction toward the mountain (“Mauka” Hawaiian directional term…towards the mountain).
An older nostalgic building where at the present time you will see Starbucks at the corner where you will park in back of this building (back of Starbucks).
The owner Scott Suzui and his wife Mayumi and son Skyler is the star and production creator of “Ultimate japan” which is a popular TV program as they take Hawaii local residents to various parts of Japan. Great program on “Spectrum OC16”.
Scott was so happen to be at his restaurant Tenkaippin Ramen at the moment where he was nice to say hello to us at our table. He inspires me to work out after seeing him in person….wow, he looks strong!
Thanks Scott! We want to join your group tour to Japan soon, especially when you visit Kentai Bridge in Iwakuni where Hiromi and I have frequently visited.
