What a find! At the most iconic landmark in Hawaii….Diamond Head Crater our State Monument. So obscure is this well manicured park located at the nearby entrance road leading into the hike into Diamond Head Crater (before the Kahala Lookout).
This park provide a nice resting place if you are doing the hike to the summit. KCC Farmers Market does not offer picnic tables to enjoy your purchase of eating and drinking items….why not take a stroll just 5-7 minutes away to this isolated park! Well worth to include this in if you are nearby. You almost forget that the busy road (Diamond Head Road) is right there. The trees and overall foliage muffles the street sound….you will even hear the birds singing….live is good!
It’s an incline as you pass the zoo area on your way to KCC Farmers Market/Diamond Head Crater…..so be prepared.
