Ala Moana Beach Park just moments from Waikiki hotel resort area. Go where the locals go…..one of the most visited in Hawaii. Maybe because it’s across the street from Hawaii’s largest shopping mall, Ala Moana Shopping Center. A well maintained and manicured park with Tennis Courts, exercise jungle gym, walking paths and a large picnic area is why it’s a must visit. Magic Island is part of the beach park as it is not really an island…but located closer east end of the beach park as you will see adjacent Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and best and most picturesque Diamond Head Crater vantage point. But as you look the other way westward it has to be the most magical sunset, hence “Magic Island”.
